About the role

Tottenham’s charm is aided by its incredible support team, including an amazing senior nurse and established student and trainee nurses. You will not be bored at Tottenham and the practice has a great reputation within the group for their positive team dynamic.

This role involves a 4-day week which can be Monday to Thursday (with an early finish on the Thursday) plus a 1:4 branch Saturday and 1:8 Hospital Sunday rotation. You will be rota ‘d to up to 2 bank holidays per year in Wanstead.

As well as digital and dental x-ray, we will also be providing Tottenham with ultrasound facilities.

You will be fully supported by our highly experienced regional manager, whose support is invaluable to her branches, as well as a regional head vet for clinical management support you may need.

You will also be supported by our Wanstead 24-hour hospital to refer more complex cases, and their own rotating night team provides your patients with invaluable OOH care.

​Caseload at Tottenham is high, with a bonded client base so we need an experienced vet to take the reins of this popular branch. The practice itself is perfectly situated if you want to travel into the hustle and bustle of central London within 15 minutes, but is also within a short drive to beautiful Epping Forest for that countryside relief!

Our fabulous senior vet at Putney is off to explore the world! This has created an opening for a veterinary surgeon to step into a senior position and explore the ins and outs of Goddard Putney!Before we delve into the nitty gritty, here is what we offer you:Our senior vet salary band inclusive of weekend rotation is £63,000 to £83,000 (FTE) depending on prior experience, and development within the role.

We are also looking for an additional part-time vet to join the team on either a 2 or 3 day week basis (plus weekend rotation) to crossover with the senior vet 1 day per week. If you were looking for additional days this can of course be explored within the region as we could explore 2 days in Putney, and 2 days in another nearby practice. The associate vet salary band is £45,000 to £58,000 (FTE).

About the roleThe current rota for this position is Monday to Wednesday (however we can also accommodate a 4-day week, and offer flexibility on the days) in addition to a part-time vet where you will have a day of cross-over, you will also be working alongside a fantastic senior RVN, and passionate trainee nurses.

Your rota is inclusive of a 1:3 branch Saturday and 1:10 hospital Sunday rotation, plus 1 bank holiday per year.

Our Putney practice location has a true London ‘village’ feel, just a short walk from the River Thames, Putney High Street, and Putney Station. It is situated at the end of a beautiful Victorian high street with a true café culture atmosphere.

​The clients at Putney are amazing, incredibly bonded to the team and are largely insured.

If you have a diagnostic imaging bias and are experienced in ultrasound scanning we have the green light to obtain ultrasound facilities in Putney.

​You will be fully supported by a dedicated regional manager, and our 24-hour Stone Lion hospital that is just a 15-minute drive away, where you can refer more complex cases, and who also provide our OOH services.

​You will also have additional clinical support from our integral regional head vet Julie, who has a wealth of clinical and management knowledge to pass on.

​Our senior salary band is £63,000 to £83,000 (FTE) depending on experience and allowing room for growth within the role, as we would welcome the opportunity to provide CPD for further clinical or management development.

This role includes a branch Saturday rotation and 1:10 Sunday rotation in the Stone Lion Hospital plus 1 bank holiday per year. We would also be happy to explore this as a 3 day week role.

There are no on-call requirements for this position.

Accommodation is available at nearby New Addington if required.

About the role

Between Croydon and nearby New Addington, are experienced support teams including RVN’s, students and front of house, that play an integral part in day-to-day branch life, including successfully maintaining high team moral.

You will have full clinical support from Stone Lion Hospital in Wimbledon, for any complex referrals you may need to make, and OOH care for your patients.

You would be fully supported by your dedicated regional manager, and regional head vet who has a wealth of knowledge to pass on and can support you in your clinical management needs.

This is a sole charge position, and you will be comfortable with routine GP consultations and surgery, but ample support is provided by management in the region. You will also be responsible for the support and guidance of an associate vet who will work between Croydon and New Addington.

​Being south of the river, you are ideally located near idyllic Kingston Upon Thames, and then for a night out in London within easy reach of Brixton.
