About the roleThis role involves a 4-day week (2 days in South Woodford and 2 days in Tottenham) with Fridays off. There is a 1:4 branch Saturday and 1:8 Sunday rotation at Wanstead Hospital plus up to 2 bank holidays per year.Tottenham is a buzzing first opinion practice with new clients wishing to register on a regular basis, along with its long-standing client base. Tottenham’s charm is aided by its incredible support team, including an amazing senior nurse and dedicated student and trainee nurses. About the role

In this sole charge GP first opinion role you will be conducting morning consultations, performing any routine surgeries during the day, then rounding up with evening consults.

​You will be fully supported by an incredible support team including Dawn and Alison, who have been at the practice for over 20 years and are very proud of the reputation the practice has built.

​In addition, you will be supported by a dedicated regional manager, and regional head vet to help you with any areas of clinical support you may need.Your full-time 40 hours are inclusive of a 1:3 branch Saturday and 1:8 hospital Sunday rotation, in addition to up to 2 bank holidays per year in Mandeville Hospital with time off in lieu.

Although sole-charge, you will be fully supported by our 24-hour Mandeville Hospital in Northolt that is just a 10-minute drive from the practice, if you did need to refer any of your clients and their pets for more extensive treatment, or overnight hospitalisation.There is state of the art diagnostic support at the hospital with a new CT scanner, a diploma holder in imaging providing our CT and ultrasound service, a strong medical team, and experienced surgeons routinely conducting advanced orthopaedic, soft tissue, and minimally invasive surgery all available on site.Ickenham’s location is ideal with 2 main access roads including the M25 just 10 minutes away, yet it has the quint essential village feel.

You will be supported by a highly experienced senior vet on your crossover periods, and incredibly experienced nursing team.As well as everything you would expect in a busy first opinion practice, Shenfield also has ultrasound facilities.Your rota will involve: Mondays 9am-7pm (sole charge) Tuesdays 12pm-7pm, Fridays 12pm-7pm plus a 1:3 branch Saturday rotation, 1:8 Sundays and 1 bank holiday at Wanstead hospital.

This is a long established, popular practice, in a vibrant area of East London. Mile End has a large surgical caseload, and we would love to welcome a second vet who shares that passion, to work alongside their full-time senior vet, Part-time vet, senior RVN and student nurses.

The rota for this role involves a 4-day week with Mondays off and alternating early and late finishes. The average 37 hours per week is inclusive of a 1:4 branch Saturday and 1:8 hospital Sunday rotation. You will also be rota ‘d to up to 2 bank holidays per year in Wanstead, and be involved in an on-call rotation.

About the roleKennington is situated in a bustling and popular area of South London, with easy travel links across the city and has a fast-growing client base. Its high surgical case load would be ideal for a first opinion GP vet looking for more surgical caseload.This role offers a great rota with alternate Mondays and Fridays off, 1 day per week totalling 10 hours, and the other 3 weekdays are 8 hours. The weekend rotation is 1:4 branch Saturdays, and 1:10 hospital Sundays, plus up to 2 bank holidays per year.There are NO on-call requirements.As well as a fantastic team including a senior vet, RVN’s, incredible trainee nurses and integral reception support, you will also be fully supported by a dedicated regional manager, and incredibly experience regional head vet.Kennington is equipped with everything you would need, including ultrasound facilities, ideal for a vet with a keen interest in diagnostic imaging.

Due to the layout of the practice being over 2 floors, confidence in independent working is integral.
