VA436 – Veterinary Surgeon

The team are looking for a competent GP vet who is able to jump straight in with routine surgeries, including bitch spays and dentals. Wanstead Veterinary Hospital provides an excellent first opinion, emergency, critical care, and referral service to our clients and local network of 20 branches and works to the highest clinical standards. There is state of the art diagnostic support, with a CT scanner, a commercial laboratory, a strong medical team, and experienced surgeons routinely conducting advanced orthopaedic, soft tissue, and minimally invasive surgery all available on site. You will be fully supported by a team of experienced hospital vets including a senior medic/ECC and GP vet, our incredible nursing team made up of experienced RVN's, students, nursing assistants and front of house team, as well as on site clinical managers. Your rota will be on a 6 weekly rotational basis made up of an average of 40 hours per week, inclusive of your weekend rotation. This will enable you to work within all departments of the hospital, ranging across consulting, surgery, ward and ECC. VA434 – Night Veterinary Nurse

Stone Lion Hospital in Wimbledon are recruiting for a nocturnal RVN, to join their night team on a permanent basis. Before we delve into the nitty gritty, here is what we offer you: A unique night rotation of 3 nights on 7 nights off, 4 nights on 7 nights off averaging 30.33 hours per week. Our Night RVN salary for the above rotation is £28,055 to £32,604 (£37,000 to £43,000 FTE based on 40 hours per week) depending on experience and allowing room for growth within the role. Stone Lion is equipped with everything you would expect from a 24-hour hospital and are now offering laparoscopic spays. We are an RCVS Accredited Hospital and for the cat lovers out there, hold an ISFM Silver Award for Cat Friendly Clinics. You will work alongside an experienced on-site veterinary surgeon for your night shifts and will have support from the clinical management team if you needed to contact during the day for any queries. This busy and diverse "mini hub" is looking at further investment in diagnostic imaging facilities, to help support our expansive and varied caseload. The practice boasts two consulting rooms, a large prep and theatre area, separate cat and dog wards and a well utilised lab area. This part-time role averages to 26.4 hours per week inclusive of a 1:4 branch Saturday and 1:20 hospital Sunday rotation. In addition to 1 bank holiday per year at Wanstead Hospital. Your rota will be 8 hours per day on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, giving you the rest of the week for down time, or allowing you to explore any hobbies! You will be working alongside a large support team of vets, a senior RVN, students and trainee nurses. You will be fully supported by two vets, an amazing senior RVN, experienced nursing and reception team and an invaluable regional manager who have all worked in/with the practice for years. As well as being equipped with everything you would expect for a large branch, Chalfont also has ultrasound facilities. The Mandeville Veterinary Hospital in Northolt provides out of hours support for Chalfont. It has state of the art 24 hr facilities including CT, an excellent ultrasound, scopes, laparoscopic equipment, and an array of specialists. The role will also involve carrying out student support visits across the regions.
