Ben qualified from Cambridge Vet School in 2015 and started his clinical career at a fast-paced 24 hour small animal hospital just north of Cambridge, working a mixture of daytime and out of hours emergency shifts. In 2018 he moved with his family to the area. He is passionate about providing the best care he can for his patients and their families, and his clinical interests lie in ophthalmology and internal medicine. Ben enjoys travelling and has volunteered at several animal charities abroad, including a cat neutering clinic in Malaysia, and a Wildlife rehabilitation centre in Ecuador. In his spare time he enjoys running, and spending time with his young children who are both under three. He has an active voice in the media, using social media to raise awareness of important animal welfare issues affecting our pets and has worked with multiple animal charities including Cats Protection to help spread their messaging on important topics.
