How to Find Us

Our Stockwell Vet practice can be found on South Lambeth Road, in the London Borough of Lambeth. The Stockwell branch has been caring for local pets since the 1980s and became part of the Goddard Veterinary Group in 2008. 

Parking and Accessibility 

Our Stockwell practice is just a stone’s throw away from Stockwell tube station. Alternatively, if you are visiting the Stockwell surgery via car, you will find metered parking available locally. Or, bus No.2, 88, and 196 all make stops close by. 

Please note this practice is located within the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ).

What to do in the event of an Emergency 

In the event of an emergency, or if your pet is unwell outside the practice hours, then we have an emergency vet hospital that can provide urgent assistance. Our veterinary hospitals are open 365 days of the year, 24 hours a day. The closest hospital to our Stockwell practice is the Stone Lion Veterinary Hospital. They can be contacted on 020 8946 4228. For your peace of mind, and continuity of care, your pet’s medical history is accessible from all of our branches, at any time.

Matthew qualified from the University of Cambridge and spent two years working as a mixed species vet in Yorkshire before moving to London to work in the civil service and medical design. Following a winter working as a vet in Sweden, Matthew worked at the University of Liverpool before joining the team at Stockwell in 2024

Rachel joined the team at Stockwell in 2018 and has been a veterinary nurse since 2001.  Rachel previously worked for the PDSA and Celia Hammond Animal Trust.  She has a keen interest in feline medicine and wound management.  In her spare time Rachel enjoys photography, reading and live music.

Louise joined the team at Stockwell in 2024 and graduated from Middlesex University in 2016. She knew from a young age that she wanted to be a veterinary nurse. Louise loves every aspect of her job and couldn’t imagine doing anything else. She is a huge dog lover but enjoys all the different pets she sees coming through the practice.

Abigail joined the team at Stockwell in 2021 and believes she was born with a love and passion for animals. As soon as she could talk, Abigail would say that one day she would work in a veterinary practice to help animals. Abigail started her veterinary career by volunteering at local animal shelters, stables, dog hotels, and rescue centres and is currently studying to become a veterinary nurse.

Hayley joined the Goddard Group in 2022 and enjoys working with all animals, especially dogs. Hayley has worked in veterinary practice since 2013, completing a level 3 in Animal Management and a Canine Behavior level 4 qualification.  She is currently studying to become a veterinary nurse.

Ashleigh joined the team at Stockwell in 2022.  Ashleigh’s family have been rescuing cats and dogs for a long time, many with health issues which inspired Ashleigh to pursue a career in veterinary medicine.

Caroline has over 20 years experience working in managerial roles within the veterinary and hospitality industries, and she joined the Goddard Veterinary Group in 2019. Caroline has a passion for developing business and supporting individuals and teams to maximise their own potential. Outside of work creativity is her main focus with stained glass, print making, painting and drawing on the list of many hobbies. Caroline lives in West London and she enjoys the energy of the city but also the opportunity just to relax with her two adorable cats who are credited for her move into the veterinary industry.
