How to find us

Our practice in Collier Row is located in East London, just north of Romford. Serving patients since the 1960s, our committed and experienced team is widely recognized in the local community.

Parking and Accessibility

If you are travelling to our Collier Row practice via car, then you will find parking available on the neighbouring streets, including Hainault Road and Wainfleet Avenue. Alternatively, buses No.175, 365, 247, and 249 all make stops outside the surgery.

Please note this practice is located within the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ).

What to do in the event of an Emergency

In the event of an emergency, or if your pet is unwell outside the practice hours, please contact one of our veterinary hospitals who will be able to provide urgent assistance. Our veterinary hospitals are open 365 days of the year, 24 hours a day. The closest hospital to our Collier Row practice is Wanstead Veterinary Hospital, please call 020 8989 7744 for assistance. For your peace of mind, and continuity of care, your pet’s medical history is accessible from all of our branches, at any time.

Veterinary Surgeon

Gordon graduated in Melbourne in 1996 and worked in a large mixed practice before moving to the UK in 2004. He spent most of that time running a sole practice branch in Cardiff before moving to Collier Row in 2011. Gordon’s main academic interests are in dermatology and medicine, especially endocrinology. As an Official veterinarian, he is also certified to complete animal export certificates. Gordon completed his Post Graduate Diploma in Dermatology in 2021 and became an Advanced Practitioner in Dermatology in 2022 and now offers referral consultations. He also has just started a Post Graduate Diploma in medicine which he hopes to complete by the end of 2023 to compliment his dermatology skills. His outside interests are travelling, gardening, eating out, and loves nothing more than sitting out on his patio with a good book.

Jen joined the branch in 2003 and so is a well-known and familiar face to our clients and their pets. She enjoys running, cycling and travel in her spare time and owns a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever and a stray cat which she rehomed.

Regional Manager

Philippa joined the Goddard Group in 1999 and has seen it develop and grow over the years. Originally from a veterinary equine practice, Philippa now manages ten branches in the East London area. Philippa achieved her management certificate Cert B&PS in 1999 and her Certificate Veterinary Practice Management CVPM in 2013. Philippa lives with her husband, son and her rescue cats Duncan and Sydney. In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering projects, was an Olympic Games Maker in London 2012 and helps out at Saturday Park Runs. Philippa has a passion for photography and participates in many charity runs (as long as there is a medal at the end!).
