We are looking for a client-focused, experienced receptionist (ideally from a veterinary background but not essential) to join our team at Stone Lion Veterinary Hospital, in Wimbledon.

About the role
The role totals 35 hours worked between Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and alternating Wednesdays or Fridays off, plus a 1:3 Saturday rotation 8am-4.30pm.
The Stone Lion Veterinary Hospital provides first opinion, specialist referral services and emergency and critical care out of hours, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Our front of house team is integral to the hospital as they are the first point of contact for clients, and it is essential our exceptional client service is maintained.
Responsibilities will include diary management in conjunction with the clinical team, taking payments, processing insurance claims, registering new clients, handling client queries, health care plan administration, supporting our vets and nurses with general administration tasks, and of course the welcoming of our clients' precious fur-babies into clinic!
Our new team member will be highly efficient, an extremely good communicator and will not be overwhelmed by a busy and demanding reception desk. We are looking for an applicant who demonstrates the confidence, empathy, and experience to provide the high standard of care and the personal touch we expect for our clients.
You will be fully supported by your team of receptionists, and on-site management.
