Located in the heart of Walthamstow Village, our Walthamstow vet practice has been caring for local pets for over 30 years. We pride ourselves on being part of the local village community providing a warm, caring and compassionate healthcare service for all pets in the surrounding area.

Parking and Accessibility

There is plenty of on-site parking available right outside the surgery building. Our Walthamstow vet practice is close to a number of bus routes; the 56 Whipps Cross Roundabout to St. Bartholomew’s Hospital, the W16 Chingford Mount to Leytonstone Station /Grove Green Road, Bus no. 357 Chingdale Road to Whipps Cross Hospital — all which have stops within walking distance of the surgery.

Please note this practice is located within the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ).

What to do in the event of an emergency

In the event of a veterinary emergency or if your pet is unwell out of hours our emergency hospitals offer your pet a dedicated service and the reassurance of knowing we are open 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year. The closest hospital to our Walthamstow branch is Wanstead Veterinary Hospital, call 020 8989 7744 for an urgent appointment. For your peace of mind and for continuity of care, your pet’s medical history is accessible in any of our branches or hospitals, any time of the day or night.

Iria studied veterinary medicine in Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona and graduated in 2020. After graduating she worked in different practices and hospitals while studying a postgraduate in ECC. In 2021 Iria moved to London to work as a vet as she wanted to expand her experience and English knowledge. Iria has an interest in imaging and ophtalmology but enjoys having different types of clinical cases in practice. In her free time Iria enjoys dancing and singing.

Millie joined the Goddard Group in 2018 and qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2024 after attending the Goddard Veterinary Nursing College.  At home, Millie has a Cotton de Tulear dog who she loves to walk and also owns a horse; she spends all her spare time down the yard.  Before joining the Goddard Group Millie travelled abroad volunteering in animal sanctuaries.

Philippa joined the Goddard Group in 1999 and has seen it develop and grow over the years. Originally from a veterinary equine practice, Philippa now manages ten branches in the East London area. Philippa achieved her management certificate Cert B&PS in 1999 and her Certificate Veterinary Practice Management CVPM in 2013. Philippa lives with her husband, son and her rescue cats Duncan and Sydney. In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering projects, was an Olympic Games Maker in London 2012 and helps out at Saturday Park Runs. Philippa has a passion for photography and participates in many charity runs (as long as there is a medal at the end!).
