Veterinary Nurse Apprenticeship
How it works

Whether you’re just starting out in animal care or aiming to become a fully qualified registered veterinary nurse, flexible learning options delivered by our nursing college will provide the perfect environment to achieve your goals and develop your career in veterinary care. And, with an apprenticeship, you can Earn while you Learn!

A successful apprenticeship applicant will begin their training at one of our Goddard Veterinary Nursing College course intakes (there are several intakes each year).  Your full-time apprenticeship position will combine on-site training and experience in one, or several, of our renowned London-area veterinary practices as well as weekly online, and in-college learning sessions.

Upon successful completion of your course, you will become either a qualified Veterinary Care Support Assistant or Registered Veterinary Nurse.

During the period of apprenticeship, you’ll be paid at least the national living wage for 21-year olds and over (regardless of your own age) which will increase upon qualification.
