Welcome to Walthamstow! This growing practice in a trendy area of East London is looking for an additional vet 3 days per week. Before we delve into the nitty gritty, here is what we offer you: The salary band for this part-time position inclusive of weekend rotation is £33,337 to £46,038 (£42,000 to £58,000 FTE) depending on prior experience and allowing room for growth within the role.If you were looking for a 4-day week we are happy to explore options. The clinic has undergone a refurbishment in recent years and has all the equipment you could need. The rota involves a Monday to Wednesday working week, plus 1:4 branch Saturdays,1:8 hospital Sundays and up to 2 bank holidays per year. We are looking for a future colleague who enjoys working in a busier GP environment and is comfortable with routine surgery and dentals due to the high caseload at Walthamstow. You will be fully supported by a full-time senior vet, senior RVN, incredibly passionate trainee nurses and a regional manager whose support is invaluable to her region. Walthamstow is also fully supported by Wanstead Veterinary Hospital for more complex cases and OOH. It has extensive 24 -hr facilities including CT, an excellent ultrasound, scopes, laparoscopic equipment, and an array of specialists and provides a good environment to develop your ECC skills.  The practice itself is situated in an ideal location if you want to base yourself in a village/high street environment but want easy access into the hustle and bustle. It’s just a 15-minute walk from Walthamstow Central station, taking you straight into Oxford Circus in just 20 minutes. In 2022 we celebrated our 70th anniversary and have 46 branches, 3 hospitals and our own nurse training college.
