Our fabulous senior vet at Putney is off to explore the world! This has created an opening for a veterinary surgeon to step into a senior position and explore the ins and outs of Goddard Putney! Before we delve into the nitty gritty, here is what we offer you: The salary band for this 3-day week position inclusive of weekend rotation is £48,195 to £63,495 (£63,000 to £83,000 FTE) depending on prior experience, and development within the role. Refunds on many routine medical costs such as dental care, physiotherapy, optician, chiropractic fees, and more - Professional membership fees covered - Shopping discounts - Generous colleague discounts - Petplan 20% colleague discount About the role The rota for this position is Monday to Wednesday, overlapping on Wednesdays with our amazing vet Raquel who has all the enthusiasm you could wish for in a support colleague, in addition to the incredible nursing support team who make the practice what it is! Your rota is inclusive of a 1:3 branch Saturday and 1:10 hospital Sunday rotation, plus 1 bank holiday per year. Our Putney practice location has a true London ‘village’ feel, just a short walk from the River Thames, Putney High Street, and Putney Station. It is situated at the end of a beautiful Victorian high street with a true café culture atmosphere. The clients at Putney are amazing, incredibly bonded to the team and are largely insured. You will be fully supported by a dedicated regional manager, and our 24-hour Stone Lion hospital that is just a 15-minute drive away, where you can refer more complex cases, and who also provide our OOH services. You will also have additional clinical support from our integral regional head vet Julie, who has a wealth of clinical and management knowledge to pass on.
