Ewan graduated from Edinburgh University in 1982 and spent eight years in general practice. He gained his Certificate in Small Animal Dermatology in 1989 and was awarded his Diploma in Veterinary Dermatology in 1993. Ewan runs weekly dermatology clinics at the Stone Lion Veterinary Hospital, the Mandeville Veterinary Hospital and the Wanstead Veterinary Hospital.
